Opening reception will be Friday, June 1st from 5-8 p.m. We will, of course, be serving good things to eat and drink.
The name of the show is, "All Tangled Up"-the inspiration for it is Zentangled base, but the underlying premise is about patterns in images.
When I dropped my work off the other day, I got a sneak peek of the other artwork in the show-and, wow! It is amazing at how diverse the subject matter of patterns can be. I got pretty excited seeing everyone's work.
So, do stop by! There are lots of events going on tomorrow, but perhaps you can swing by when you are already out and about. Salsa Under the Stars kicks off tomorrow night too at the Albuquerque Museum (haven't been? you must!). It is the First Friday of the month, so there are also lots of other art receptions to go to around town. It's a great way to relieve stress and all of the art openings are free of charge!
To find the Printmaker's Studio, it is between Lomas and Central just before Copper St. Traveling south on San Mateo, it is about 4/10ths of a mile from Lomas on the right hand side. If you can't make it to the reception but want to stop by to see the artwork, give them a call-they are very accommodating about opening up the gallery for guests to see the work.
