My contribution is "El Cazador De Suenos": The Catcher of Dreams.
Many of the street children in Oaxaca can only dream of continuing their education once what is equivalent to our primary school level is completed. The obstacle? Money. We're not talking a whole lot of money by OUR standards. $50.00 is what they need to get started. I don't know about you, but I can't think of where else my $50.00 could do more good than for these children.
You've heard of the "butterfly effect", which theorizes that a change in something seemingly innocuous, such as a flap of a butterfly's wings, may have unexpected larger consequences in the future.
Go ahead; make a child's dream come true. Bid on one of these shrines (be it mine or someone else's).
Your purchase of a shrine will be that flap of a butterfly's wings that will truly have positive consequences and a ripple effect that goes beyond our imaginations.
